Check out Re-Verb Apparel,
a clothing line using the proceeds to help buy books for our students at Restore Leadership Academy! They’ve designed some fun shirts specifically for this line and you can see them on our facebook photo album.
Here’s what Re-Verb is all about:
“Founded in 2010, Re-verb Apparel (“RE-VERB”) is a non-profit apparel company that uses clothing as a medium to raise awareness about issues that often go unnoticed or overlooked by the public eye. Each line we design aims to address a particular social issue and support a philanthropic project tied to that issue through our sale proceeds. We let our clothing and designs do the talking, so as to give a voice to people and causes around the world that need to be heard.
RE-VERB endorses a lifestyle of awareness and action that begins with the clothes you put on each morning. One of our chief goals is to bring out the potential in our supporters to ‘reverberate’ – to reach out, move, and inspire those around them with the things that they do, the clothes that they wear, and the lifestyles that they lead. One by one, like a cascade of dominoes, a movement to effect change can be initiated. All it takes is one creative touch, like a t-shirt design, to set off a chain reaction that will spread from town to town, state to state, and eventually, country to country, until we’ve amassed a global network dedicated to fighting for a better world.”
