It’s that time of year in Uganda where the gowns come out and the caps are flyin’ again. I can’t wait!
I’ll be heading back to Gulu next week with some others to launch a class of terrific students out of high school and into leadership in the country.
The preparations are under way for this year’s graduation and we couldn’t be more proud of our graduates! Check out this preview of a few pages from the yearbook at Restore Leadership Academy. What makes this yearbook so special is that yearbooks are not normally given out in Ugandan schools. We want these kids to remember this time in their life and to remain a family of friends for years to come so every kid at Restore will get one.
Thanks to you, there are over 260 kids now attending the school and 40 dedicated teachers. Together, they have become the number one school in all of Northern Uganda. How cool is that? A huge thanks to our team and volunteers here and in Gulu for all the hard work to make this happen and to you, for making it possible.
If you want to change a kid’s life in Northern Uganda forever, think about signing up for one of our programs. ENGAGE one student or ten at Restore Leadership Academy, or Launch a graduating senior towards a higher education at one of the Universities in Uganda by clicking the links. We have some other mischief planned for this trip and I’ll tell you about it soon. Until then, many thanks for all that you do to love God, love people and do stuff about it.
